The works of the TRNC- and Barcelona-based freelance artist are said to be themed on “a map of movements by nomadic states within time and space, their state of mind and behaviour through cartography, lithography and collages”.
Ms Bolayır said the works had been created to encourage people to consider “where we have been, where we might be going, what is lost in leaving and, most precious of all, what is discovered through chance and coincidence”,
An academic in the university's Plastic Arts Department, Ms Bolayır also runs Expressive Arts workshops in both Cyprus and Spain. She graduated from Marseilles and has had her art exhibited in solo and collective exhibitions in the TRNC and abroad.
Her latest exhibition is open weekdays from Monday to Wednesday between 2pm and 5.30pm.
