DOCUMENTARY films, seminars, music and performances are showcased at the Evagoras Lanitis Centre next month at the 12th Limassol International Documentary Film Festival.

An 8.30pm screening of the film Bobbi Jene launches the August 1-8 fest on Tuesday followed by an outdoor party near the mediaeval castle.

Highlights for film-makers include a three-day “Docstalk” educational season featuring a one-hour discussion at 5pm on Thursday with Zaradasht Ahmed, director of Nowhere to Hide, before an 8.30pm screening.

Creative Europe Desk Cyprus showcase the Creative Europe programme to support the arts with a one-hour presentation at 10am on Saturday, August 5 and director Feryas Fayyad discusses his film Last Men in Aleppo at 5pm on Tuesday, August 8. The film will be screened on Monday, August 7 at 8.30pm.

Entrance is priced at two euros per film or 25 euros for a festival pass and the full programme may be viewed online at
