The “Faust: a tragedy of development” exhibition was specially prepared for the Kıbrıs Museum of Modern Art.

Labour and Social Security Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu commented on the importance of university support for the arts as he cut the opening ribbon and presented the artist with the Uluğ Bey award.

The artist dedicated the show to his first art teacher, the late painter, sculptor and architect Mükremin Mungan.

Mr Daloğlu added that the collection of works was a story of “life and death” and a “declaration of immortality which would remain forever on show at the museum”. The exhibition can be viewed from 8am to 4pm on weekdays.
