Türk Ocağı Limasol Sports Club signs striker Eneramo

Former Nigeria international striker Michael Eneramo, 32, who has played for many Turkish Super League teams, has transferred to Girne’s Türk Ocağı Limasol Sports Club.

The 1.87m-tall forward previously played for Spanish team Esperance Sportive de Tunis on an annual salary of 1.2 million euros.

Mr Eneramo began his football career with Lobi Stars and was scouted by Tunisian top club Espérance Sportive de Tunis in 2004. He was then loaned to USM Alger from 2004 until 2006, where he scored 13 goals in the Algerian Champion at National.

Mr Eneramo won the Tunisian Cup in 2007 with Espérance Sportive de Tunis and joined Al-Shabab (KSA) on loan in July 2007 before returning to Esperance in December the same year.

He considered accepting Tunisian citizenship to play for their national side, but was capped 10 times for Nigeria between 2009 and 2011.

On January 19, 2011, he joined Turkish Super League team Sivasspor on a one-and-a-half-year deal. After two seasons with Sivasspor he was transferred to Beşiktaş and then loaned to Karakspor for the 2013-2014 season. During 2014-2015, he played for İstanbul Başakşehir.
