A NINE-year-old boy sitting in a restaurant was injured when a car veered off the road at Demirhan, skidding through parked cars and a delivery bike before smashing through the building's plate glass window.
Driver Ahmet Kaslı, 46, was said to have lost control of his car after falling suddenly ill behind the wheel last Sunday.
Police said Mr Kaslı was also taken to Lefkoşa State Hospital for an angiography examination, while young Ahmet Tongar was admitted for injuries suffered in the accident.
The crash happened at 7.30pm as Mr Kaslı was driving past the Dört Kardeşler restaurant.
He left the road and careered into two cars belonging to Sekla Han, 45, and Vedat Can, 19, and the delivery motorbike before ending up inside the restaurant frontage.
