THE family of a Turkish Cypriot woman whose body was found in a freezer in London a year after she went missing have launched an online appeal for help with funeral costs, to give her “send-off she deserves”.
Mihrican Mustafa, 38, a mother of two and dance teacher known as Mary Jane Mustafa, was confirmed last Friday as being one of two bodies found in a ground-floor flat in the Canning Town district.
The other has been named as Hungarian Henriett Szucs, 34, who lived in the UK for several years and disappeared in summer 2016.
Police investigating the murders have questioned two men, one of whom is in custody.
Ms Mustafa's sister, Meryem Mustafa, also known as Mel, told Cyprus Today on Thursday they had now been given the results of the post-mortem examination which showed she had suffered blows to the brain and internal injuries.
