Home-owners on an Esentepe estate say they have become “landlocked” and are appealing to their builder to construct a “promised” bridge.

Keith Ellis, a spokesman for owners on the 21-property Palm Homes development, said they could no longer reach the site by vehicle after a neighbouring owner withdrew permission for them to drive across his land.

Mr Ellis, 77, who bought a bungalow with wife Lesley off-plan from Sunnyside Construction in 2004, said: “We have waited over 10 years for our builder to construct a bridge as part of his responsibility for access to our site.
