North Cyprus has a 61 percent ‘life satisfaction’ rate.
This is according to new public opinion figures released by the European Commission. North Cyprus has been ranked 22 points below the European Union average of 83 percent.
Some 61 percent of Tukish Cypriots said they were 'satisfied with life' in the TRNC. The biggest problem facing Turkish Cypriots, according to the 2017 study, is prices, inflation and cost of living (32%), the economic situation (28%), and unemployment (25%).
Conducted in November last year, the study is based on 500 face-to-face interviews.
Statistics were also revealed about the community’s opinion on political issues and the European Union.
