Private schools adjust fees due plunge in TL

Most of the country’s private schools have adjusted their fees in a government-led measure to ease the burden on parents due to the plummeting value of the Turkish lira against foreign currency.

Near East College, Doğa Schools, TED College, British Culture College and Final Schools are converting their fees into Turkish lira, according to an announcement by the National Education and Culture Ministry, while Levent College, Girne American College andNecat British College have started fixing the exchange rates by which they convert fees into TL.

Other private schools that charge in lira said they would continue to do so.
