Volunteers needed at Lefkoşa Animal Shelter

Helping hands are being sought after by the Golden Paws Association, which is looking for young volunteers to help care for rescued dogs and cats at the Lefkoşa Animal Shelter during the midterm holidays.

Work will include washing food bowls, helping to groom the animals, feeding baby animals, washing, and dog walking. Those who are interested should call Emre Batunlu on 0533 868 33 77.
Meanwhile, Academy Art Association will be holding a fundraiser for the charity on Saturday February 23, at The İskembeci in the walled capital’s Samanbahçe area, between 10.30am and 2pm.
