A 22-year-old man turned himself into Turkish police and confessed to the killing of Solomos Apostolidis.
Erdinç Şentürk told police that he had hit the man on the head with a rock after Mr Apostolidis attempted to sexually assault him.
Mr Şentürk, who had fled to Turker following Mr Apostolidis’s disappearance since March 28, turned himself in to the Çınarcık police station in Yalova, northwestern Turkey.
The body of Solomos Apostolidis was found on near Arapköy on Thursday night.
