LEMAR Supermarkets have launched their £3 million 16th branch at Boğazköy, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Prime Minister Ersin Tatar and other leading figures which helped raise charity funds.
Covering 1,700m2, the retail complex between Lefkoşa and Girne provides jobs for some 200 people and stocks some 11,0000 different products.
It includes 11 other shops, a Burger City and a children’s playground called Happy Kids that offered face-painting and other fun activities during the launch last Friday evening.
Shoppers can buy electronic goods and textiles along with stationery and glassware in addition to food, beauty and household items.
