CULINARY skills are on offer from a team of well-known chefs at a Girne university in a new drive to introduce Cypriot food culture and world cuisine to younger generation chefs and hobby groups.
Çatalköy's Final International University launched the new programmes at its Gastronomy Kitchen, including a televised high school competition and hobby courses at their Lifelong Learning Centre.
Young Chefs at Final targets gastronomy students at TRNC vocational high schools who are set to compete in teams of two during sessions which will be broadcast every Saturday at 8.30pm on the BRT 1 HD TV channel.
Lecturer Nafiya Güden said the grand final would take place on Thursday, June 20.
