Held earlier this month, the special occasion saw the couple of four years celebrate with their family and close friends when they were surprised by their son Evan, 3, and Mrs Morris`s brother Ivan Clark who had travelled from the UK to be present.
A candle-lighting ceremony was conducted before a cake was cut and shared followed by photographs and a meal during which “emotional and funny” speeches were delivered.
The couple, both aged 41, had known each other in the UK and re-established contact 21 years later, with Mr Morris subsequently moving to the TRNC where Julia was already living.
“Our wish came true, it was the happiest day of our lives,” said Mr Morris.
