Around 12 stalls were set up to sell products including household items, clothes, ceramics and jewellery while the venue offered warm food and drinks.
Black Olive owner Vicki Karaca said: “A friend rang me to say that there were many items left by people returning to the UK or remaining unsold from other markets that were discounted to sell, so we thought why not hold a New Year market?
“I was amazed at how busy we were on the day and thank everyone who came. We hope to see them all here again because we have decided to hold a market at the start of each season rather than once a month, with the next one being scheduled for the Spring.”
