The concert last Saturday saw a one-and-a-half-hour performance by the choir which sang a varied selection of compositions ranging from works by Mozart and Barnes to modern numbers such as The Sound of Silence and The Rhythm of Life.
Just over 2,000TL was raised through audience donations which will be shared among Kyrenia Chamber Choir, Karaman Church and Girne's St Andrew's Church.
Organiser Linda Bennett said: “This is the third time this year that we have organised early summer concerts to raise funds as costs have gone up and our numbers have gone down.
“The community in general has been a great help, especially by coming along and supporting us. Thanks to that support, it seems we will be starting next season in a better financial position.”
