All tickets were sold for both of the nights which featured different acts from musicals such as Les Miserables, Aladdin, Chicago, Phantom of the Opera and Mamma Mia that were performed by the Theatre Players who were introduced by organiser Ian Chennell.

Guests also tucked into an open buffet laid out by the venue and during the two evenings a “50/50” draw was organised to boost funds, with the final amount raised to be announced later.

RBL Kyrenia branch chairman David Horsfall said: “It was a night of entertainment with many shows staged, all of which were great fun to watch. I would really like to thank each and every one of the cast for putting on two nights of fantastic shows and also to thank those who attended and supported the cause.

“Part of the proceeds will be going towards the RBL and part to the Poppy Appeal.

“A summer production has been held once before and we hope it continues as such events are very important to us, with money raised going to very good causes.”
