Republic Day celebrations in London set for red-and-white ball

The event, marking November 15 Republic Day, will be held on November 22 from 5pm to 11pm and will bring together music, dancing and entertainment in a red-and-white themed celebration.
Organisers said the aim is to create an evening that reflects both the spirit of Republic Day and the sense of community among Turkish Cypriots and Turks living in London.
Guests are being encouraged to dress in keeping with the “Red & White” theme, with organisers promising an evening focused on music, dancing, friendship and celebration.
In a statement promoting the event, the school said the night would be more than simply a social gathering, describing it as an opportunity to celebrate together “under the light of our Republic” and to look ahead to many more years as a community.
Organisers added that the event would offer something for all ages, whether guests wanted to celebrate Republic Day, spend time with friends and family, or simply enjoy an evening of music and dancing.
The venue is still to be confirmed but is expected to be located close to the school.
Adult tickets are priced at £40, while tickets for children under 12 cost £20.
The event will take place on November 22 between 5pm and 11pm.
