Death toll in Girne ferry disaster rises to 25
The Prime Ministry said the body had been located as part of continuing efforts to find those still missing, and that examination and identification procedures had now begun.
Three people remain unaccounted for.
In a statement, the Prime Ministry said all available state resources had been mobilised since the first day of the disaster and that search operations had continued without interruption.
The authorities said efforts would continue with the same determination until all those still missing had been found.
The Prime Ministry also extended condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished strength and patience to the relatives of the missing.
The latest recovery brings the confirmed death toll from the disaster to 25, while the search for the remaining three missing people continues.
