Metgin showcases North Cyprus brands at Paris food fair
Held from October 17 to 21, the food trade fair gave the company an opportunity to present its products to international buyers, retailers and distributors.
According to the company’s press release, this year’s exhibition brought together 8,000 exhibitors and 305,000 industry professionals from 192 countries and territories, with international visitors accounting for 72 per cent of attendance.
Metgin said meetings at its stand and positive feedback from visitors provided an opportunity to assess the potential of its brands in overseas markets.
The company also used the event to gain a closer understanding of consumer preferences in different countries and establish contacts that could lead to future commercial partnerships.
Its participation forms part of a broader ambition to combine its distribution experience with the development of its own brands and production activities.
Metgin said it aims to build on the contacts made in Paris, bringing its products to wider markets and developing long-term trading relationships.
The exhibition offered an international platform for a North Cyprus business seeking to grow beyond its domestic market, with Metgin identifying product development, quality and cooperation with overseas partners as central to its plans.
