Showers on Saturday, strong winds and storms expected on Sunday
The Meteorological Department has warned of scattered showers on Saturday morning and storm-force winds in some areas on Sunday as unsettled weather moves across Northern Cyprus.
According to the department’s forecast for November 7–13, showers are expected in some areas until around midday on Saturday.
Sunday will be mostly clear with occasional clouds, but strong northerly winds are expected to reach storm force in some locations.
Monday will be mostly clear, becoming partly cloudy in the evening, while the remainder of the week is expected to be mostly clear or partly cloudy.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach 22–25°C inland, 21–24°C along the coast and 15–18°C in mountainous areas.
Winds will generally blow from the north at moderate speeds, occasionally becoming strong, with stormy conditions expected in some areas on Sunday.
